Only 36 palm islands in the nowhere of the Indian Ocean includes the islands of the Lakshadweep and a half hour flight west of the southern Indian coastal city of Kochi, a good hour's flight north of the Maldives. In the soft sand in the sun, swim, snorkel, scuba dive - Dream Island viewfinder and Stressed who want once off entirely, are correct in Lakshadweep. "Greed is good" does not apply here, however: Paradise's not a bargain price.
Thinnakara is virgin and perfect Robinson Island: no home, not a hotel, not even a bar - but paradisiacal beach, bright with a touch of pink, to coconut trees. And turquoise sea. Sometimes trippers come over for a few hours - those who do not want to stay exclusively on their Hotel Bangaram Island.
A few coconuts are this morning in the sand of Thinnakara, the perfect destination for travel to secluded palm-fringed beaches of Lakshadweep. The waves of the night they have resorted, only taken, then washed again and pushed further up the beach. A large bright red crab runs straight past it towards the water - and there, where the waves no longer now sat long at low tide, actually adorn a few footprints in the sand: even though the tiny island in the Indian coast is about 500 kilometers west uninhabited, although not even Robinson should be here.
Kadmat
The 50 km away from Agatti, 8 km long and up to 500 meters wide island thrilled with gleaming white beaches and world class diving and snorkeling reasons. The 5,000 residents live in the northern part of the island. The "Kadmat Beach Resort" is located in the south of the island. Check-in: Either Agatti by speedboat (2 hours) or directly by boat from the mainland.

Minicoy
Minicoy is to Andrott the second largest island of Lakshadweep is closer to you than on other islands in the Maldives Lakshadweeps. Also, language and culture of 10,000, living in ten villages Muslim inhabitants resemble the southern neighboring republic. Landmark of the island is a 90-meter high lighthouse. Before the small atoll spreads over 25 square kilometers as huge as a picturesque lagoon.
